Privacy statement for the planner

This statement covers the planner at portal.melissaweddingenevents.nl. For the website and my services, the general privacy statement at melissaweddingenevents.nl applies.
Who is responsible

What data
Your account: email address, name, language and display preference.
What you enter yourselves: wedding date, venue, tasks, budget, vendors, guests (names, contact details, dietary needs), seating plan, timeline and group photos.
Guest replies via the RSVP link, and photos guests upload to the guest album. Photos are saved again without location and camera data.
Why
Only to make the planner work: storing your data, sharing it with the people you invite and sending the related emails (confirmation, invitation, reminders). Legal basis: the agreement you enter into by creating an account.
If you choose my guidance, I can view your planning. You can always see this under Plan together.
To manage the planner, Melissa and one other administrator can see an overview of all weddings: names, wedding date, place, the account’s email address and counts (tasks, guests). They only see the contents of your planning when they follow along, which you can always see under Plan together.
Where and with whom
The data is stored with Supabase on servers in Frankfurt (EU). The website is delivered via Cloudflare. Emails are sent via Microsoft 365. Data processing agreements are in place with these parties.
I don’t sell data, and use no advertising and no analytics or tracking cookies.
On your device
The planner keeps a copy of your data on your device so it also works offline. This is needed for it to work and is not tracking. The copy stays when you log out and is erased when you delete your account.
How long
As long as your account exists. Photos in the guest album are deleted one month after the wedding day.
If you delete your account, your data is deleted immediately. A wedding you share with someone else remains for that person.
Your rights
You can always view, change, download (Excel or PDF in Settings) and delete your data. If you need help, email me. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Guest data
If you enter details about your guests, let them know you use the planner. Only ask for what’s needed, such as dietary needs.
